AS I SLEEP
Lord help me tonight
Lay down in my bed.
Asking Your forgiveness
For every idol word I've said.
Give me a restful
Peaceful nights sleep.
I pray my Lord
Watch over Your sheep.
When I awake
In the morning light.
I'll praise and thank You
For watching me through the night.
Asking You to lead me
And guide me this day.
Watching my actions
And every word I say.
Making sweet sacrifices
To those in need.
Giving out kindness
In word and deed.
So that in Your will
I'll surely not stray.
If I come to You often
Through out my day.
